This is about showing up AS YOU ARE on a normal day. Some people wear eyelashes every day. Some people style their hair every day. How you show up is completely up to you.
Don't overthink it!
We will do THREE OUTFITS. One dark, one light, and one "in your skin." These can be as casual or sexy or anything you want them to be.

*just because you're showing skin doesn't mean you have to act "sexy." (this is not a boudoir shoot!) When we shed physical layers we tend to open up in a deeper way.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR 2 HOUR SESSION:
First, we will set out your outfits (one light, one dark, one "showing skin") and if you bring extra options I'll help you choose.
We’ll take a few minutes to get centered and breath and then we shoot!
You don’t need to prep at all. I prompt and direct you, I just don't "pose" you in the traditional sense. All you have to do is exist.
Then we do an immediate portrait reveal where you see ALL the photos and I help you pick your favorites! It's such a cool part of the process because nothing's culled or edited out yet. I'll help you narrow down your favorites! Then you choose how you want to enjoy your portraits, place your order (credit card or check accepted) and I send you the digitals of everything you've purchased - usually that same day!
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

We will view your images IMMEDIATELY after we shoot. You will see every photo (yes, even the blinks and the sneezes), and it is such a powerful part of the experience. But don't worry, I'll help you choose your favorites!
When you're getting ready to show up, forget the idea that you have to "be more" or do something to "fix" yourself in order to get in front of a camera. Just show up as you. For some, that'll mean your favorite movie-night-in-comfy-sweater. For others, it'll mean a corset. (An example: for me, it would be a blazer! I've always loved blazers and I feel most myself when I wear one.) Don't overthink it! And if you want to bring a few extra options, I can help you narrow them down.
Don't let the "show some skin" prompt freak you out. This is different for EVERYONE. Some will opt for fine art nude while others might just unbutton the top button of their white shirt. Only you know your comfort level.
Please note these sessions follow a specific look and format for a reason and this is not my usual offering for boudoir or maternity sessions. You may be interested in my Body Project or my full experience sessions where things are more styled and hair and makeup is included.
YOUR PRIVACY:
You are the first person who will see your photos (in most cases, immediately after we shoot!) And you'll let me know if you'd like to keep any of them private.
