How it works

1. Session planning

A boudoir session is highly personal, and I want this to be a session that represents you the best (not what you think you HAVE to do)

During this meeting, we’ll go through ideas, brainstorm, and I’ll get to know you a bit better before your session. We’ll talk wardrobe, see what you have, what I have, and decide what you should bring along to your session. I’ll also send you a prep guide so by the time you get to the studio, all nerves will be settled and you’ll already feel more confident going into your session.

2. Professional hair and makeup

I still remember the first time I saw a client’s shoulders drop when she realized she didn’t have to ‘be ready’- that she could just show up, and we’d take care of everything. That’s why I include hair and makeup - because this is about you feeling at home in your skin before you even step in front of the camera.

We’ll discuss your makeup preferences so that you feel like your true self - whether that is very natural or total smoke show!

3. Your guided boudoir Session

My sessions are specifically tailored to you with various artistic lighting set-ups, backgrounds, poses, and style changes. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, beautiful, confident, and empowered. During your photoshoot, I will direct you through elegant poses, focusing on angles that bring out your most beautiful self while providing a luxurious day of pampering.

4. The gallery reveal

Your experience doesn’t end when the camera stops clicking. About a week after your session, we’ll meet again for your personal gallery reveal — a relaxed, champagne-worthy moment where you’ll see your portraits for the very first time. Together, we’ll select your favorite images and design the perfect way to display them, whether that’s in a handcrafted album, elegant wall art, or other luxury keepsakes.

FAQ

  • I can understand how you might think you need to have confidence BEFORE doing a boudoir session, but I have to tell you, people come see me to FIND their confidence. You see, it's the ACT of taking chances on yourself, DOING things that scare you, and TRUSTING yourself just a tiny bit that will help you uncover your confidence.

  • My private photo studio is based in South Metro Denver (Littleton/Centennial) and easily accessible from all the major highways.

  • Sessions are at least 1.5hrs long and hair and makeup also take 1.5hr so you should plan to be at the studio for 3hrs.

  • Well, if you want to wear anything at all, don’t worry, with your booking, you receive a complimentary wardrobe consultation. We will go through what to wear, what looks good in photos, and where to shop. 

  • I will direct you 100% of the way. You don’t need to know how to pose or have any experience in front of the camera at all. 

  • Professional hair and makeup are complimentary; however, if you prefer no makeup or to do your own, that is perfectly fine.

  • You get to see your images the same day! No need to wait. We’ll go through them together, discuss any further edits and select your favorite images.

  • All my collections include corresponding digital images.

    Any wall art purchased is accompanied by the corresponding digital image.

  • I retouch all final images. I usually do a clean-up of backgrounds and remove temporary blemishes such as bruises, scrapes, and pimples. We will discuss any further edits during the design consultation.

  • As a body inclusive photographer, it is my job to photograph you where you are and in my experience there will never be a perfect weight, a perfect time nor the perfect haircut. Your body is worthy of documentation right now, just as it will be if you should lose weight because it is the same body and more importantly, it's YOU! Sexy has no weight limit, confidence has no waist size, and empowerment certainly has no pants size.

  • While I do possess this magical skill to do that, I am curious why you would want to hide it. Every client comes to me with body insecurities, but part of my mission is to help women see the full spectrum of their beauty. My goal is to give you an experience that will have you feeling sexy, empowered, confident, powerful, sensual, and unstoppable. At the end, I want you to correlate that you felt that way, not because of or without X body part, but rather WITH THIS body as it is.
