Why I Believe in Slowing Down (and Why Your Photoshoot Should Too)
Everything in life feels rushed these days. We scroll fast, shop fast, and are constantly told to ‘hustle.’ But I believe some things are too important to rush, like the way we see ourselves, celebrate milestones, and capture our beauty.
I’ll be honest: I hate pushy sales talk. It makes my skin crawl. The second I sense it on social media, I scroll away. Don’t get me wrong - I love to shop, and my TikTok basket is always full of little “miracle” products. But most of the time, I end up deleting half of it anyway.
That’s why I never want to come across as a salesperson in my own business. Photography, for me, is about connection, intention, and honoring people’s stories
How Denver boudoir and maternity photography can feel like self-care
With my Denver boudoir and maternity sessions, there’s never pressure to book before you’re ready. During consultations, I take the time to really listen to what you want. On session day, you can relax into professional hair and makeup, slip into outfits that make you feel amazing, and enjoy a calm, guided experience. Yes, I’ll get excited and pack in variety, but always with breaks, always with space to breathe.
The benefit? You feel seen and heard, not sold to. You have time to prepare and grow confident. Your final images feel meaningful and personal, not cookie-cutter. My wish is that the whole process feels like self-care, not just another to-do.
I want your final images to feel like timeless boudoir and maternity portraits you’ll treasure.
Your invitation to slow down.
What would it feel like to slow down and give yourself this time? To not rush past this season of your life, but to celebrate it fully, with beautiful images that remind you of your strength and beauty every day?
If that sounds like what you need right now, I’d love to talk with you about creating a session that feels unhurried and deeply personal. You can reach out here.
