I’m in the Energy Business

You are driven with a strong sense of self. You are creative-minded and open to creative ideas. You want the best for yourself. You know the importance of self-love and care. You want to look confident and cool but also show the real beauty inside and connect with a deeper self. You decide to take the leap and book a session with me. Great!

Now, I want to show that side of you in your photos. I want to show all of this and your wonderful, beautiful soul. To be honest, that takes energy. As an artist, that takes energy, especially since I don’t know you and have to find out all these details during our consultations, questionnaires, and connecting.

Photography is not just about capturing moments; it's an art form that requires creativity, skill, and a significant amount of energy. Each session involves careful planning, attention to detail, and the ability to bring out the best in the subject.

Just like any other form of energy exchange, whether it's time, effort, or expertise, photography requires a considerable investment on my part. The time spent conceptualizing, preparing, and executing a session is a valuable resource. In return, the monetary compensation serves as a way to acknowledge and reciprocate the energy and dedication poured into creating timeless and elegant photos.

Think of it as a mutually beneficial exchange where your investment not only supports the artistry and craftsmanship involved but also ensures the sustainability of the creative process. It allows me to continue delivering exceptional work and maintaining the standard of quality you expect.

This investment also has an incredible return. These images are not just for now, but in 10 years you will look at your images and think wow, I am a Goddess and in 20 years you’ll look at these and think back to how proud you were of taking a scary step out of your comfort zone and how that created a life of confidence afterward and the affect it had on your life.

I know my art creates energy.

Even from the start, talking on the phone, building the excitement. Planning the session and perhaps going to buy something fun before the shoot. Then the hair and makeup, then the shoot itself, then seeing the gallery and eventually the printed product. This happens over many weeks or months and it is a constant energy transfer. I am not just selling an image printed on a piece of paper or a digital file. It is valuable and it is an energy transfer and I feel confident charging for it because I know the energy that goes into it.

Contact me if you want to discuss this more or want to work together.
